Ayushmann while being a great scheme is poorly implemented. Many hospitals in my area have stopped doing cases under Ayushmann due to non payment. Implant vendors similarly have pending bills amounting upto 40 lac or more each.

Many hospitals are being very careful and doing very limited number of cases under Ayushman Bharat scheme bcz when it's time to pay they are now screwing hospitals and Doctors by predatory practices and cutting in already approved payment amount, need to give bribes or do settings at higher level to get payment of the work etc etc...

Our hospital charges a one time security fee rn because of massive payment failure lmao .If payment goes through they refund the security back, if it doesn’t they keep it

Rather than roaming around claiming insurances at age of 72 that too being a cancer patient and dying a miserable death it's fine putting end to that entire misey imp at your own will.
I mean he has most probably seen each and everything in life as well

The coverage is so stupid. Only a few specific codes are valid and so many uncomplicated cases admitted for observation and management before complications are denied.

My close friend was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer last year. The government has some scheme where they are supposed to fund treatment of rare diseases. According to an RTI not one patient has received any help from it. Needless to say that we didn't hear back from the best government since 1947.

Health insurance in India is a big scam. Govt schemes pay so low that most pvt hospitals don't accept them. And private schemes are very responsive when they want to sell you policies. When the time comes to pay for claims, they ghost you.
